My database supporting wordpress has become corrupt. I have a backup from yesterday, but I don't have access through Member Tools (phpmyadmin) to remove the old database and upload the new database. I just called tech support and they said they couldn't help because it's "hidden" and they said I need to submit my request through the forum.

Please let me know how I can remove my current wordpress database and replace it with my backup.

Thank you!

I've resolved the problem on my own. Since the database created through the WordPress One Click Install is not available through member tools I found a work around.

Through member tools I created a new database. Then I imported the backup of my database. Next I updated the wp-config.php file with the new database settings.

I hope this info is passed along to tech support reps that answer the phone.
