I am getting boatloads of spam from *.mobi addresses. The domain names change so often that it does next to nothing to add them to Apple Mail's rule for junk mail. I also get a ton of *.us spam and and do well adding key words from the front of the address. But that's not working with *.mobi; they tend to be more random (the one I'm staring at used my first name as the username).
I would love to just junk all *.mobi but I don't know if it's going to be a legit domain. I looked it up and it seems to be something people will use to send email from cell phones. If I only get a couple people I care about using it, I can whitelist them, but I don't know what will happen.
Most of the spam from *.mobi and *.us has a similar look to it, like they come from the same set of spammer companies (or the same set of templates).
Comments? Are any of you junking all *.mobi mail? All *.us mail?
Thanks,
Cyndi
