Need to re-authenticate

My outgoing email has been working fine for years until about 6 hours ago it failed with msg
530.5.7.0 authentication required from sonic.net.
How do I re-authenticate? Been so long I have forgotten.

Just got off the phone with tech support. Seems like mail.sonic.net lost my password, I needed to re-enter it.

Generally you'd enter your username and password in your email client.
