Is anyone experiencing intermittent high ping jitter in Sunset SF? This started happening after our 2 hour maintenance on 6/26. For the past four days, I have been stuttering during normal gaming.

Might be unrelated, but around the same time I noticed an increased RTT over IPv6 between my Sonic service at home in San Jose and a VPS I rent in Fremont - just shy of 60ms vs the ~6-7ms it was earlier in the week.

Traceroute from home to the VPS's ipv6 address just shows a mysterious jump in RTT after leaving Sonic.

Traceroute from the VPS to my home address shows IPv6 traffic inbound to Sonic taking a detour through routers with names containing "chicago" and "seattle" on as6453.net; the IPv4 path stays in the bay area.

I've reported this to Sonic with additional detail.

I can't answer to the specifics of the question but would encourage that you allow ICMP Echo at least from our existing probe system a.icmp-monitor.noc.sonic.net/69.12.210.169 -- this allows our monitoring systems to track latency and reachability of your equipment.
