Hi,
I just got service this week, coming from AT&T. With their all-in-one modem and router I could run a 2.5GB ethernet line from the router out to my office in the back yard. I was also using a Deco XE75 Pro with the wifi in the AT&T router turned off for better coverage in my house.
With Sonic, I know I need a separate router, so I connected the XE75 to the ONT, and all is good, but now I only have 1GB ethernet out to my office. Since I already have Deco nodes, I decided to buy a Deco BE63 which has 4 2.5GB ports as the main router.
My problem is that the BE63 won't get a WAN IP address from the ONT. I have restarted the ONT a couple of times, but the router's LED turns red and refuses to do anything else at that point.
I get that this is most likely a problem I should ask TP-Link about, but I thought I'd ask here too... is there something about that router that would be incompatible with Sonic?
