This week my apartment complex down near South Shore is installing Google Fiber. Is that any indication that Sonic will be improving things soon? It's frustrating, paying top-tier prices so that *other* neighborhoods can get fast speed. 6.9/0.9 right now on Sonic's speed test. Not only is everything slow, but I can rarely use two devices at once.

Google will be about $70.

Unfortunately, we haven't announced any expansion plan for your neighborhood yet. We are actively working to expand our infrastructure as quickly as possible, so hopefully, we can announce expansion there in the near future. However, after announcing expansion there, it will still take a year or longer before things are completed and ready for installation.

That said, it may be best to look into Google Fiber in the meantime for faster service immediately. When we eventually reach your neighborhood, we hope you'll consider returning to us.
