How long do this usually take if you clicked the request to upgrade to 10gb service?

In order to offer upgrades to 10g fiber for our existing 1g fiber customers we need to upgrade the existing infrastructure in the area to support it. The request 10g fiber upgrade button is there to aggregate interest in that product and gauge where we should focus our energy on deploying it. We do not have a definitive timeline for when that upgrade may become available for you but we appreciate your interest and support!

Is there a timeline to get an 10gbe upgrade on my area?

I'm in Sebastopol and have the request upgrade button. I'm not keen on agreeing to pay $300 at anytime in the future without having some general idea when Sonic might get to upgrading me. Do you have any deployment timelines for the area around Brookhaven school? I was the first Sonic fusion install after the Florence trial area if that helps narrow it down.
Thanks.

Where is the button to upgrade to 10g?

I recently switched from Xfinity to Sonic and while I like the symmetrical supply of Sonic, 950 Mbps is noticeably slower than 1450 Mbps available with a 2.5 gigE modem from Xfinity.
Yes, $49.99 / month is better than $120 / month from Xfinity too, but I'd be willing to pay more for faster.

I have my home wired for 10g and have 10g router ready.
How can I do this?

Requested 10g about two years ago and haven't heard a thing. The appetite for this must be very low and I understand it must cost Sonic a sweet dime to upgrade so it doesn't make sense for them.

All you can do is try to convince your Sonic neighbors to request the upgrade. 94114 here btw

ya without the 10gb service i don't think it is worth it. I might have to go back to xifinity since they have 2gb for $80 right now my sonic bill is $70. Sonic telephone tax made it not worth it.
