How to send email using Email list

Hi, created an email list in Member tools. Now that I have created an email list, I am not sure how to send an email with the list. Can someone please help?
Whatever the list name is, send an email to that at lists.sonic.net.
If your list was named "cassandra-example", then you'd send email to [email protected]
