Hi,

I've was one of the first in neighborhood to sign up and chose fusion fiber with a landline. I am no longer needing a landline, is there a way to switch to standard fiber? Shortly after i was connected to 1GB fusion, my neighbors were signing up for 10gb services... I see that both fusion and standard are still available in my neighborhood.
Thank you

Hello and thank you for reaching out.

I was able to check your account, and I see that you can upgrade to 10gb via https://members.sonic.net/ and this would allow you to have your infrastructure upgraded and have a new ONT (Optical Network Terminal) installed. Once logged in to Member Tools, you would click on the Internet Connections tab and then Upgrade or Downgrade Service to proceed with the upgrade request. There is an upgrade fee of $299, and the upgrade would upgrade to 10GB Fusion Fiber. Once this is installed, you must request a downgrade to 10GB Standard Fiber to remove the phone line.
