Cannot get SSH connection - no password prompt, no nothing

I was able to get SSH access back in 2018 using PuTTY.

But now when I try to connect, I just get a blank screen with a green cursor and no text. It also ignores anything I type. After less than a minute it times out.

Here's what the error log says:

Can anybody tell me what I or the computer is doing wrong?

Cron jobs are no longer working; the server they would have run on was turned off July 1.
