I just setup my free faxline and was able to send and receive fax via Sonic. This is a great feature and best of all, it's free.
My question is that I had to select a fax number from a list of available faxline numbers and entered my Sonic email address. Once I selected this faxline number, is this number dedicated to me only or is this number just a pool of numbers that Sonic uses to receive faxes? I currently have a VOIP phone number at home that I've dedicated for receiving fax. Given that Sonic provides the same feature, I want to disable my dedicated fax phone line. Can I transfer my VOIP phone number to Sonic so when I select the faxline, it uses my VOIP number instead of the phone number that I selected from the faxline pool? If that is possible, please provide instructions on how to proceed. If not, is there a way to use my dedicated VOIP phone number as the Sonic Faxline number? Thanks in advance for your help.
