Since yesterday I get re-directed to a captcha page whenever I try to go to google.com with a message stating:
"This network is blocked due to unaddressed abuse complaints about malicious behavior. This page checks to see if it's really a human sending the requests and not a robot coming from this network."

Does anyone have any idea what's going on? It's very annoying to go through the captcha prompts every time.
Could this come up because of other sonic users in the area or in general provider related?
I've scanned for malware on my devices, don't see any unusual traffic in my router logs etc

Can you check what your IP address is? There are lots of web pages that show you the IP address your web traffic is coming from; the first hit in a search is https://whatismyipaddress.com. Maybe your IP address is in a network block that is associated with nasty activity.

I think the IP block was most likely the cause. After restarting the router & ONT I got a new WAN IP assigned and now everything seems back to normal. I hope not just for now.
