I just signed up to become a future customer on 4th Street in downtown Livermore. I learned of Sonic through my IT guy as I recently purchased the property to then find out that neither ATT or Comcast can service it. Locally, everything is above ground, but I originally contracted with Comcast who ended up coming back saying that they cannot get approval and must go underground- and that I must absorb the entire construction cost. I am excited to see that my area is currently in Sonic's planning phase, but also wanted to share my recent findings as notification that there might be a significant amount of homes and businesses in the local area that could become immediately interested in a fiber option the moment that one becomes available.
