If the ACP ends in April 2024, will Sonic be willing to allow existing ACP recipients to keep their 1gbps internet-only fiber plans without being forced into higher rate plans in service areas where internet must be bundled with voice - such as in parts of San Francisco?

Correct, you will be able to retain current service. However without program funding, the Broadband Benefit Credit will go away. We will keep any additional relevant discounts on your account. Expect an email in the coming week outlining exactly what your new bill will be.

We are hoping that the ACP will be funded, or return in a new form so we don't want to make changes until it's clear what the outcomes will be from the FCC and Congress.

We are encouraging everyone to advocate for continuation of the ACP at https://www.dontdisconnectus.org/

Thanks,
