I've been using Sonic's webmail for more than a decade, but sadly need to cancel my account (so all my sites are on the same provider). Does anyone know the best way to download my emails? Or perhaps it's easier or better to transfer them to another mail program? Instructions? Suggestions? Advice? Thank you!

I don't use their webmail but you could use an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) to do this by setting it up as POP3. That should download all emails from the server to your local device.

Incoming server: pop.sonic.net
Incoming port with SSL: 995

To download all email i would also not use webmail but i prefer IMAP to pop3.

Also if moving to another email service, there are some migration services like https://www.audriga.com so you can keep your emails.

To do it the free, individual way i would add both old and new mailboxes in outlook and drag the emails from one mailbox to the the other.

Or just drag the messages to a "local" folder and not put them into another provider's cloud.
