Hello,
We would like to change our shell from /bin/sh to /bin/bash. While we do know that:
/bin/sh -> bash
Bash behaves in deprecated shell mode when it is exceed as /bin/sh. To get full bash shell functionality, we have to exec /bin/bash at login.
The normal method of changing shell does not work due to use of YP:
$ chsh -s /bin/bash
chsh: can only change local entries; use ypchsh instead.
However ypchsh also does not work:
$ ypchsh
ypchsh: can't get local yp domain: Local domain name not set
Please change the login shell for users chongo and paulnoll from /bin/sh to /bin/bash.
Thank you.
