This is a plee, can Sonic pressure ATT to provide fiber to my condo?

I moved from SF a year ago to Orinda. I still pay for fiber at my old house in SF because I love It so much! ATT does provide fiber, but not down my street, and certainly not the sweet, sweet Sonic fiber. A friend has 10g in Oakland, and I'm so envious!

The local, rhymes with poopcast, ISP is garbage.

What city council members do I need to talk to?

Fibrously yours,

We certainly couldn’t pressure our competitors to deploy, except perhaps indirectly vis our own continued expansion of Sonic fiber.

Cities can certainly encourage or discourage our deployment. They should allow and encourage modern trenchless construction including boring and microtrenching. And they should not disallow the placement of temporary safety bypass poles when they are needed during aerial construction due to preexisting pole safety issues.

So if you want to encourage deployment in your city, these would be policy items to check on, because getting these wrong can block any fiber broadband deployment.
