Last night I had 1.7 inches of rain, but weather.sonic.net showed 0. I think it is clogged again.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I have forwarded this feedback over to the team that manages that system to see if we can get it fixed!

The very windy weather we had over the weekend managed to tip over the weather station, so that prevented the wind vane, anemometer, and rain gauge from working properly. Everything is back upright as of around 1pm yesterday.

It looks like the mechanism in the rain gauge might have gotten dislodged in the process, so that will need to be checked out to determine if it can be repaired or needs replacement.

i did not know about weather.sonic.net so i tried it and it's interesting though not relevant for my location.
At the bottom, there is a link to wviewweather.com. The website at this address does not look legit. Maybe hacked?

It looks like the website for the project was abandoned and left to expire. Sadly, there's enough of a secondary market for expired domains that it's been grabbed by some sort of SEO spammer instead of anyone related to the project. I've updated the page templates so we link to the Sourceforge page (https://sourceforge.net/projects/wview/) instead.

A replacement rain sensor has been ordered and will hopefully arrive and be installed in the next week.
