Are faxes still available?

I just found out about the "Send A Fax" tool, and might actually find it useful every so often if it still works. However, when I go to
https://members.sonic.net/labs/fax/, I get this error message:
This account (daniel15) cannot access fax services.
Are faxes not available to customers on the 10Gbps basic plans?

Hello Daniel,
10G services can access fax, but only in the standard or fusion packages; you have basic, which offers the lowest cost, given that you have only one service ( 10g fiber ) on your account. You can upgrade to one of these in-member tools and get fax services enabled.

Used to be great service - relied on for years.
DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE and no Tech Support - don't mess with it.
It will ruin your life when you depend on it to send medical records and Poof! it just stops working from one day to next...worse than useless

Well, it's still under "labs" and it seems to be there for me. Last time I used it was January, and it worked fine (2023).

I successfully sent a fax in May.
