I was told by support I should be able to now get an IPv6 address, but when I check, nothing is.

Is it truly rolled out across Oakland/Piedmont?

Apologies on the incorrect information you had received from our support team. After looking over your account IPv6 is not available at your address yet. IPv6 was just rolled out to certain parts of Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and Oakland.

Our Network Operations team is working on getting this rolled out to a larger subset of customers but there is not currently an ETA on this.

We appreciate your patience in this matter as this becomes more widely available.

When you mention certain parts of Santa Rosa, would this include the 700 block of Cherry St where 10G was just rolled out? What IPv6 PD size is Sonic providing?

Sonic is delegating a /64. See the IPv6 with Sonic ONT thread for more on that subject.

That's unfortunate for those of us looking to implement a dual stack for multiple subnets using Sonic's native IPv6. Ah well, I assume this will change down the road...
