This map would be helpful to see where Sonic has installed its fiber and an estimate (year) for where it has not but intends to. Thank you!

As much as we would like to show where we have (or plan to have) Fiber for customers/potential customers, we are unable to for competitive reasons.

Since we're still a lot smaller than our competitors, it takes us longer to build out our infrastructure. Due of that, if we were to show a map of our infrastructure layout/plans, it would allow our competitors to target those areas with their own fastest infrastructure and offer short-term discounts to undercut our prices. As they are so much larger, they can afford to take the short-term profit loss in order to take customers away from the competition.

However, we do notify all existing customers as well as send advertisements to non-customers in the area as soon as we publicly announce our plans to build out Fiber and send updates on the progress until it's ready to be installed. So when Fiber is coming to you, you'll definitely hear about it!

Kind regards,

Thanks Brandon. This is a great reply. Is there anything I can do personally to help expedite Sonic Fiber on 29th Ave in Seacliff San Francisco? If I knew the barrier(s), I’d be willing to help address them with the City. It will mean more long-term customers and recurring, profitable revenue for Sonic. Let me know! Thanks.
