ATT ONT: Alarm Red Light?

No internet for a day, red alarm light on the ONT. Tried cycling power already.

Is there any remedy, or is this a service call?

happened to me twice in 18 months. each required a service call. The first time the ONT was replaced, the second time the fitting at the end of the fiber line (inside the ONT) was prepared new. call Sonic - they were pretty quick about setting up an appointment w AT&T for me.

Hey there,

I apologize that my reply is a bit too late and you got this taken care of with our support team already.

Often times when the alarm light comes on, it unfortunately does require a physical dispatch to assess the lines and equipment. However, there are times in my experience where power cycling and/or factory resetting the router has fixed the problem, so it's always worth trying like you did here.

I hope that the dispatch went smoothly and everything is back in order again! If not, please let us know as soon as possible!
