Sonic.net

Hello Sonic folks!

I have a quick question. When setting up email apps for mobile on Android, it doesn't seem to matter which app, but no notifications for any new Sonic.net email account appear on my device.

This occurs with Gmail, Outlook Mobile, Samsung Email

Is there a way to be notified of sonic.net email? So far no settings for android or email applications functions, specifically for Sonic.net email accounts for IMAP.

I think you'd need to inquire with the app developer, or check your phone notification settings. Wouldn't have anything to do with Sonic, who just stores the email.

Thanks for the advice, but this only occurs with Sonic.net mail. It's not an application issue.

I have run tests via applications including:

Outlook
Samsung Email

I would be happy to send the email data.

Perhaps my email is outdated? Too large?

I would hate to give up my sonic email! Any thoughts would be welcome.

Is Sonic.net IMAP possibly not allowing multiple client calls? So for example, I use Sonic.net Webmail primarily on my personal machine, but I have been away from that for 10 weeks,

Could somehow IMAP be stopping notifications if I occasionally use Webmail?

Sorry, I don’t know how the app decides what to notify about. That’s not something an email server triggers.
