Are there any discussions around offering speeds greater than 1Gbps?

More high-end routers / gateways are coming with uplink connections capable of greater than 1Gbps. So... Sonic... upsell me to 2Gbps, eh!?

Yeah we are offering 10Gbps in some areas. It's a new product so it's not widely available yet but that's the direction we're going.

As Andrew says, we’ve been quietly deploying new locations with 10Gbps (XGS-PON) equipment. We have not yet announced anything official, but some new customers in Oakland have been getting provisioned at 10Gbps instead of the 1Gbps they thought they were getting.

I'm one of those with Sonic's 10Gbit Fiber, that Dane mentioned.

Using a Thunderbolt3 to 10Gbps Ethernet adapter speeds have been as high as 8,100/7,100 Mbps Down/Up

First couple weeks were slower, past few weeks were faster. This week is slower again. Not sure what affects speed, but excited to have it!
