Does your ping time change if you halt all other internet traffic? If you're using a lot of bandwidth when you ping something, that will definitely inflate the response time.

Does this happen around the same time of day usually? We can only look back about 8 hours for your line, but if you had dropouts during this period, the lack of results on our side would usually indicate a problem with the modem.
Looking at your account history, I see you also had interest in the 6mb/s service, but we were denied by AT&T when we tried to place the upgrade order. If you're still interested in trying this, please give Tech Support a call and ask that we try "line remediation" on your line. Line remediation is where we ask an AT&T field tech to go out to your location to see for sure if you can get the 6mb/s service. There's no potential for any charges for the visit.
