Be careful about returning phone calls to unfamiliar area codes with no message left, just to see who called. You may be calling the West Indies and the call may cost you plenty. Read this article at Forbes:

We have plans to allow customers to create and maintain their own blocking list, but this feature is not coming soon. It's part of a big switch upgrade we have in process, likely to take a nine to eighteen months.

It's been 19 months; any chance of a status update, dane?

My phone already has a block listing and it's useless because telemarketers are now using new fake Caller ID numbers every day.

There seems to be something about Sonic's phone service that allows 100 times more telemarketers than with other services.
