Hello! It's a fairly simple process. Here's a link that breaks down our contract buyout. https://help.sonic.com/hc/en-us/article ... act-Buyout

I am still in the "Planning" phase in south bernal unfortunately. Is there any chance that things will move "quickly" through the other phases/piggyback off of other streets or is everything going to be 6 months to multiple years no matter what? What does the sonic fiber look like? There is a new coil of black cable up on the pole at the top of the block, but I guess that could be anyone, any tips for identifying when it is sonic?...

Look for orange ID sleeves on the black cable, which will say 'Sonic' on them. Another indication is there are new crossbars on the utility poles which won't be as weathered as the rest. A number of those were installed within the past year by a contractor working for Sonic.

The estimate tool just pushed back to December now. What the heck, can we please get a status update? This is absolutely ridiculous.

You know, in any civilized country, they would simply take the fiber and run one end across the street when there was no traffic and quickly climb up lampposts on either side and secure the fiber overhead using zip-ties. I don't know why Sonic is making such a production out of all this.

Go start your own ISP and see how easy it is.

I Iive in Bernal off of Cortland. My status still says November, but ive not seen any activity in my area. I registered in January 2023, which originally said April, but every month its been pushed back. Since it hasn't yet been pushed back beyond November, is there a possibility of getting this in November?

Any status would be greatly appreciated.
