I've updated the wiki to include 3-way calling instructions.

It looks like this was added on Wednesday: https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/3_Way_Calling

The only way to know exactly what features are available for voice is to either read your blog, look at the labs page, look at the sales page or guess. After guessing what is available, the next thing is to guess how to use it.

I just spent 5 minutes on the sales and member pages looking for the list of supported features, and not finding it.
A distinguishing characteristic of sonic is the free features... why not put that on a laminated card and get it glued to thousands of phones and refrigerators around the bay area? Help your customers AND promote the service (sonic's name is visible to house guests).

Maybe a little pull out card, meant to sticktape to the bottom of phones. The tab would read "sonic feature guide".

It looks like https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Fusion_Voice_FAQ is out of date.

I've been considering the idea of including a basic landline phone with every new Fusion account. This would give us a reliable handset with a logo on it, in the home. And, I was talking to the person who is working on this just yesterday about a quick-ref card for voice features.

You folks might be able to help out by giving us input on phones which you think might be viable. Seeking a nice looking wired phone, with a caller ID display and message waiting indication.

Here's one that will fit the bill, except it doesn't have the message waiting light--just an icon on the display.

I saw a couple of lower-priced phones that had Caller-ID, but they had no waiting message indication at all.

I have that model in black and it works just fine with Fusion.

Is the Panasonic nice looking? It's got pretty good reviews, except for those who have tried to wall mount it, as the handset apparently tends to fall off the hook.

I'd love it if the phone we select offered a visible (from across the room) message waiting light, and a display which would light up to display caller ID info when a call comes in - but dunno if these things are possible with a phone that doesn't require power. Bonus if it does time display!

Anyone else find anything cool?

I wonder if there is a nice but inexpensive corded base-station that supports DECT 6.0 wireless - but which does not include an integrated answering machine. Like this, but w/o the answering feature: http://j.mp/XJ9Feu Maybe we might offer something like this as an upsell.

My initial idea was to give away what was basically a Trimline phone - a $15 corded phone with caller ID. But they are pretty poorly reviewed in general: http://j.mp/WnLUYp

Thanks for the help trying to find something good, useful and cool!

No caller id, but this does have message waiting... http://www.cortelco.com/2500-27M.html

I think the problem with the DECT basestation idea is that the expansion handsets are too expensive (when I wanted to go from 2 handsets to 4, it was cheaper to buy a 6 handset set and give away the 2 handset set).
