When I receive an email with my fax attachment, I always receive a second small attachment (.5 KB) which is titled DEBUG + a bunch of numbers, with .xml at the end. My fax attachment always opens up fine. The debug file doesn't open up. What is it? Why does it accompany my faxes? Can I just trash it or does it serve some function?

Thanks!

If your fax is good, you can ignore or delete the debug attachment.

Thank you. Yes, they have been fine.
What is the purpose of the debug attachment?

In case there is an issue with the fax, Sonic.net personnel can use the debug information to investigate.
