I recently switched from using .procmailrc-first to .procmailrc. SpamAssassin is doing a good job, but I do like to be able to tweak things just before messages get to my mailbox. For example, messages from mailing lists go into a separate inbox.

Recently I've been getting a lot of spam from the ".us" domain, so I'm trying to send it to my BLOCKFOLDER instead of my regular inbox. I'm using this syntax:

:0
* ^From:*@*.us
$BLOCKFOLDER

And yes, I have "BLOCKFOLDER" defined. :-)

Any idea why it isn't working?

Code: Select all

0
* ^From:.*@.*\.us$
$BLOCKFOLDER
???

Try without the $ at the end, I'm not sure if anchoring works exactly as expected.

Kelsey, I changed the syntax yesterday, and today I have four spam messages in my BLOCKFOLDER and none in my inbox. Thank you!
