Adress Book Import questions, new mail program

Our staff has some questions on the import of address books from the older version webmail.
Some make extensive use of Groups. It appears that the groups were imported but not their members? Must these now be re-done by hand?
The "displayed name" field didn't seem to import properly. Must these be re-done manually too? In the old address books, the teachers displayed the students' names, while the e-mail field was the parents' address. In the new program, the displayed name is back to the parent's e-mail.
