How does one create a signature to add to their messages in the new web mail?

You can specify your signature by going to Settings, clicking Identities, and selecting the identity you wish to edit. These are handled on a per-identity basis so you can associate different signatures with different addresses if you like.

In future versions, I think it would be neat to have some form of signature control in the "Options" feature of the composition window.

In other threads, several people have raised issues of signature usage and placement, and the message composition window is a logical place for controlling these matters.
