I was prowling around in the blogs and stuff and found some references to a backup service being offered at Sonic:

Bob, we canned the product some time ago. The software that we had licensed to run it just wasn't comparable to the commercial vendors available (Mozy, Crashplan, Carbonite, etc.)

I didn't see any blog posts on cancellation. Thanks for the info!
