Hi, has anybody using the Fusion Voice Mobile Access and can say what App it actually is.
Something is described here,
https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Fusion_Voice_Mobile_Access
but it seems to be missing some key references to the actual app.

Searching around for an Andriod App I find
http://www.fusionvoicemailplus.com/mark ... efault.htm
http://forum.phonefusion.com/index.php

I was thinking of try the fusuinvoicemailplus to see if it works with Sonic Voice Mail - but thought I would check here to see if anybody else has tried something.
What I would like to be able to do is manage and access my sonic voice mail from my Android phone (so I can do it anywhere in the world with WiFi). I've an Android 2.2 which I only use over WiFi.

For iPhone users, there is an app, here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fusion- ... 90025?mt=8

For others, you can access voicemail via email in the IMAP /Voicemail folder for your account.

Hey thanks for the direction/.
Checked it and it works :) as follows.
I access the online voicemail through my basic Huawei U8150 (Tmobile Comet) Android 2.2 over WiFi, and then I have to download the voicemail, go to the download area, and play it as a .wav.
Great stuff.
BTW I've loaded up "K-9 mail" which is working very well with sonic imap.

I forgot to mention, you can also access voicemail messages in Member Tools, here:

We've made several updates to the app to fix a couple of bugs and behavior problems. But notably, we enabled push notification support yesterday for both badge updates (number of new messages) and alerts when a new message is left.

Why does the Fusion app want to access the contacts on the device? What does it do with the information?

Contact names & numbers are used in order to identify voicemail messages and display the name instead of just a number.

Is an android app in the works?
Sonic's philosophy looks closer to android than to apple to me so it would make sense to cater to that audience.

Thanks
