I checked the web any it seems that this number is used for a political survey and may call as much as 10 times an hour.
I read that it you call back you can press "1" to be put on do not call list, but I do not trust that, if it identifies me as a live person to call again.
I'm not sure if you are allowed to block this number centrally, since it comes from a political official's office, but I will put it on the list for consideration.
Congressman Mike Honda's office uses unsolicited robocalls on a regular basis... I have received two calls on my landline in the past month. These are not human callers, they are pre-recorded messages with information about some kind of "Town Hall" meetings he organizes.
The Caller ID for the calls shows up as 408 436-2720
I do not seem to have the option to block these numbers manually at my end (legacy Sonic ADSL2 service) or I would simply do that.
