888-421-9939, "Toll free call", hangs up

I get repeated calls from 408-703-5861

I checked the web any it seems that this number is used for a political survey and may call as much as 10 times an hour.

I read that it you call back you can press "1" to be put on do not call list, but I do not trust that, if it identifies me as a live person to call again.

Part of the "Energy Upgrade Program" scam. There's a court order for them to stop using that name, but they persist.

"The United States House of Representatives added a loophole for debt collection robocalls into the budget bill"

I'm not sure if you are allowed to block this number centrally, since it comes from a political official's office, but I will put it on the list for consideration.

Congressman Mike Honda's office uses unsolicited robocalls on a regular basis... I have received two calls on my landline in the past month. These are not human callers, they are pre-recorded messages with information about some kind of "Town Hall" meetings he organizes.

The Caller ID for the calls shows up as 408 436-2720

I do not seem to have the option to block these numbers manually at my end (legacy Sonic ADSL2 service) or I would simply do that.

Thanks.
