First spam call that came through since we got Sonic -

scam call from 650-282-8102:
A man with am Indian accent, claiming to be "Alex Furgeson", called and left a message insisting we call 740-692-7490 to discuss arrangements, or we will face with Federal Judge or Grand Jury.

The caller would not talk to my wife, but hung up saying they'd call again:
216-295-2787 (called twice)

925-452-6314 this was an "air duct cleaning service" who said it's time for our cleaning and that we had our ducts cleaned in 2005. We did not have them cleaned. Perhaps we should, but ...

then there's "unavailable" with no number listed - called on7/2 at 11:12am

For several months now, we've been receiving the following spam robocall several times a week, to both of our lines, from the local number 707-324-5576. In some cases, two simultaneous calls will come in from this number to both lines:
"I'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office concerning your name and your social security number. At this point, I'm not sure if you received the documentation sent to your address that we have on file, but in order to resolve the issue, we would need to speak with either yourself, or any type of appropriate representation. Please press 1 now to connect to an associate, or return the call as soon as possible to 855-527-8272. Once again, the number is 855-527-8272. Thank you."

A few company names to beware, operating locally. I know I've gotten calls from the robots these people use.

Please block this number: 702-330-5450. Caller ID just shows that number.

They've called multiple times but today was the first time I picked up the phone. The man who called claimed to be a Microsoft Service Technician and that he was calling because there was a report about hacking on my line. None of what he said made any sense. I never did figure out the purpose of his call. I asked him to take my number off of his list and he refused saying this was a service call.

He was very vague about his purpose for calling and got progressively more annoyed and angry with me when I wouldn't answer his questions or when I asked him questions in return.

I called Sonic afterwards to double check the integrity of my line. They confirmed that my line is absolutely clean and working and that if someone hacked into my line, they would know.
