Just received a call from 510-240-7302 supposedly from Union City. This is one of many in the past, The caller ( male) kept saying Hello, hello, hello, then said he'll call back again, which he never has. Please block this number or check into it. Now that I can report, I'm going to report every darn number I get that is spam. Very few people have my number and now that i can report each one, that's what I'm going to do.

Just got one from 218-288-1148.
I haven't reviewed the thread, but if you aren't doing so already, may I suggest you look at several of the various websites devoted to collecting data on unsolicited calls? Perhaps some of them have APIs that you could plug into automatically. They Include whocalled.us, 800notes.com, etc. I'm not sure the business model or methods of these sites, but hopefully some of them are responsible and reputable enough to depend on. If not individually, then in the aggregate.

The spam call list that we use is, in part, provided by nomorobo.com. We also analyze our own call records for potential bulk callers and then use the services that you mention to help verify the suggestions.

Call claims to be from US treasury.

I too just received a really nasty message from someone ( definitely from India) saying he was from the Treasury Department. Number is 435-625-1148. Really don't like getting threatening phone calls.

We did a search and found this (what is a phone hobbyist?):
Located in Malibu, California.
Its exchange 579 is managed by LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC -.
The number is currently on switch number LSANCA54DS1 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists)
