Nope, afraid not. We do however have plans to offer a dual-line bonded "x2" product in the Fusion platform that would allow you to double your speed, early next year.

Once the VDSL2 deployment is done, we will approach customers who are close enough to the CO to achieve a performance increase and offer them a service rearrangement. Yep, VDSL2 is a short-range technology.

Bonding works at all distances, so that'll be an option for those further away.

Actually bonding might be a viable option for me, getting 9.6mbs down and 1.3 mbs up so doubling that should put me up to 19.2mbs down and 2.6mbs down.

Now a question is how much would bonding cost? Double of what we are paying now?

Yeah... it's essentially 2 single line orders, at least at face value. You get 2 phone numbers, and therefore get two sets of local phone taxes that accompany that. So I'm paying nearly $120/month for bonded service in SF.

We are working toward offering a bonding offering which would include two data lines, but just one with voice, at a reduced cost and with a lower overall tax cost.

No, we have plans to offer a data-only second line, at lower cost. Details will be forthcoming later.

I'm still waiting for an update on Fusion availability in 95120. I got the email announcement from Dane yesterday and I'm very optimistic that we'll get Fusion service to our home by the end of January. (90 days from the end of October, which is when I last talked with Sonic's very helpful rep). As someone noted on another thread, there appears to be a lot of demand for Fusion in 95120, so I'd like to suggest that Sonic take this as a ringing endorsement for Fusion and expand availability ASAP.
