Hi, I looked at the proposed map of your San Francisco pilot project in the Sunset. I am not certain what went into the selection of that part of the Sunset, but the area just east of that, from 19th Avenue to Arguello, between Lincoln and Ortega, might be a more likely area in which to find early adopters of fiber optic. It is generally referred to as the Inner Sunset and frequented by a younger, more tech-savvy collection of folks, many of whom work or go to school at UCSF.

Hi, I live in on Brian Ct. in Sebastopol which is in the orange-ish color on the fiber optic planning map (http://corp.sonic.net/ceo/2012/03/02/se ... er-update/). We are very near blue sections ("planned"). Is this map up-to-date? Are there any plans to expand our subdivision? We would certainly love to see fiber come into our area.

Thanks,

Phadaphado

Same situation here (94122).
The competitors are certainly looking appealing in the speed department but I'm actively avoiding AT&T and the cable companies out of principle.
I'm a bonded fusion customer (and 10/10 flexlink at work) and while I get decent speeds with the bonded connection (25/2), I'm not sure how long I can hold out in the coming year(s) when others offer higher speeds (without the expense of a bonded line)

Also desperately looking for fiber in 94122.

+1 for fiber in 94122. I have been with Sonic a long time now, and will simply never do internet business with Comcast. However if AT&T gets fiber to this area first I would likely switch, at least until Sonic could compete- then I would definitely switch back!
