Just now, I had a call identified as ALLEN ELECTRIC 548-5566. It was a robocall for a Senior Life Support Alert program.
The woman who answered after I pressed "1" was clearly answering in her own home, in the midst of a conversation with a friend and kids in the background. When I asked about Allen Electric, she claimed they were having "computer problems" which misidentified them, then she hung up.
If it's so easy to spoof phone numbers, how can you block them?
