I'm 12k feet and get downloads of 2-3 mbps. Performance is fine. The only issue is speed.

Today we are expanding coverage in Sebastopol, plus pushing ahead with a pilot in a portion of the Sunset District in San Francisco. What happens next will depend upon all of these factors.
I would be very happy if the fiber expansion in Sebastopol could extend to the south, say the Bloomfield Road area. I have Sonic Fusion, but the distance from the CO is severely limiting my ability to watch streaming video.

thanks cyndi. on good days, or i should probably say good "hours" comcrap flies. on others i get modem dropouts and speeds ranging from 0.54mbs to 52mbs. at least according to the speed tests. ;) i think at this point i'd rather have a consistent 2-3 down then the roller coaster ride i'm currently enjoying. but given my distance i'm not sure i'd get even that. at least per the guy at sonic i spoke with today. man, i would pay a bundle to have a fiber line right now.

any word on phase 2 and 3 in Sebastopol? I haven't seen the truck for a couple weeks so I assume the pole box tie together part is done?
Thanks

Yes, splicing is complete - we're now working on some CPE, premise installation and provisioning items.

No, not at this time. Lots of projects, all taking longer than we'd like, sorry!

As I read the fantastic news about high speed connections being piloted in the Sunset district, I looked at the map, crossing my fingers that we would be covered... but alas we're at 45th and out of the area. Looking forward to when you can extend the reach of high speed outward from the pilot area.
