Great idea -- thanks for this!

Can the privileges for the fax line be extended to mailbox holders without logging into the member's account?
Only a primary account holder can manage the "FaxLine" service. It can be configured to forward the resulting pdfs to as many email addresses as you like. However, any authenticated user can use the membertools to send a fax whether they have a FaxLine service or not.suzyg wrote:Can the privileges for the fax line be extended to mailbox holders without logging into the member's account?

I tried to send a fax with a cover letter and multiple pages (PDFs)
I use the brows tool, the last PDF selected was all that was sent.
So how does one send more than one page and a cover?
Thanks, Dartaleck

I found a Left handed way to fax multiple pages with my sonic fax.
I send the pages from my home fax to my sonic fax.
I receive the pages in my email as one PDF.
I can then send the pages (as one PDF) with my sonic fax.
There has to be a better way

A better way would be to make a multi-page PDF. Just combine all the pages into a single file using whatever you used to create the PDF.
A multi-page scanner like the ScanSnap will just output one file of all pages too.

Hi Dane,
Thanks, that works. I didn't realize I had the software to do that.
I assume that one can only enter/send one PDF file at a time
and that you can't enter more than one PDF into the sonic fax
file box.
Thanks again, Bruce

Correct - FaxLine will simply send one file. If you want to combine multiple files into one larger one for faxing, you'd do that before you upload.brich wrote:Hi Dane,

Dane,
Is there any way to gain access to member services - such as FaxLine - when fusion is being provided by a different provider, such as in Santa Cruz?
Thank you,
-Neil

Wholesale Fusion is just the broadband and phone service. The ISP services such as email boxes, hosting, fax etc would be provided by the retail ISP.NeilG wrote:Dane,
