I applaud the efforts to improve the new webmail app but a tremendous amount of work still needs to be focused on the reply/forward portion of the app. The message contents box only uses 1/3 of the screen so it's very hard to adequately view. Most importantly. editing the message (i.e. deleting previous addressees &/or verbiage, etc.) is way too difficult. You guys are getting there but you still have some major work to accomplish. Thanks for all you do.

Slightly more than that, jhs. Also, I'm not sure if the iPad will allow one to change the protocol; you may need to delete the account and reestablish it.
Thanks, Mike. Appears to work. If it works like I assume it will work, I will never need Sonic mail again. Thanks again.

I finally said "***k it" and started leaving the full text of their messages after my response, and I haven't had a single complaint.
Right, that's the best setting for default.

If you don't want any quoting, before typing your answer, hit Ctl-A (to select all the text) then Delete.

Excellent. You're welcome. Give the Scotties a scratch behind the ears for me. :D

SERVICE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE!

Error No. [501]

This started around 2 or 3 pm on Friday, and I'm getting it now (though I don't know if it has been occurring through that duration).
I've been able to reproduce this with multiple devices. It appears to be related to accessing simultaneously from both a desktop and a mobile device, with the error showing up on the desktop interface. I've got a fairly comprehensive bug report in to our admins about this one.

Assuming that you also triggered this with a mobile device, are you seeing the 501 error on all devices, or just the desktop?

Using Chrome on my Windows 8 laptop, there is no visible logout, send or save icon. I can use those functions, but just FYI, there's no icon for them.

I've been getting the same error since Friday evening.
Browsers: Chrome Version 28.0.1500.3 dev, Firefox 20.0
Operating System: Fedora 18

You may need to hard-reload the page (including its stylesheet) to make some of the changed icons appear. I ran into this myself when I first loaded the revised interface, but only on browsers that had the old stylesheets cached.

I hope you mean the same error as deevic, because there's 36 pages in this thread that you might be referring to. Are you missing icons, or running into a 501 error like Mike?

I'm getting [501] errors too, but I'm accessing only from a laptop (Windows 7, via Firefox 20.0.1). I think it's been happening to me since well before Friday, but I can't prove it...

I tried accessing the mailbox through webmail-beta on my iPad once, some point after the announcement of the new release, probably last Thursday (after returning from several days out of town).

I started getting the error on Friday, and it's still occurring, as of the time this message is posted. The first time I got the error was around 3 pm, but I'd been in and out of webmail-beta several times earlier that day.

To experiment, I just logged into webmail-beta from my iPad, using Safari, and I was successful. However, even though I'd changed to the Larry skin, mobile version had reverted to the Mobile skin.

However, that seems to have un-stuck whatever was causing the problem, because now I can access webmail-beta from my desktop. It also comes up in the Mobile skin.

I figured I should change this to Larry for desktop usage. As soon as I clicked "Settings," I got the error, and I can't get any farther with that mailbox, even after opening a new window and logging in again.

I just tried with a separate mailbox, and it's fine. Unfortunately, the mailbox causing problems is my primary mailbox.

I'm guessing that fiddling with the skin has corrupted the profile for that mailbox. I'll send you a private message with the mailbox name in case someone wants to check it out.
