This is primarily a resource issue for us. We have a limited set of things we can build and maintain as an organization, and we have to focus the software development resources on the things that will benefit the most customers. The current app is not being fixed or maintained, and it has bugs which make it unreliable. Additionally, all of it's functionality is available using other methods from a smartphone.Guest wrote:I can understand that if you are developing a different app you do not want to invest in the work to make this one compatible but why retire it if it is working for peope?

I am very upset that you are stopping the Fusion App. I have depended on it completely because I am away from the landline during most days. All I had to do was look at the App and see if I had a call, and how many.
I tried to login, but there must be a different way to login than for Member Tools.

Please do contact support, they can assist in setting up mobile access to the Voicemail folder, as well as notification for new messages.Guest wrote:I am very upset that you are stopping the Fusion App. I have depended on it completely because I am away from the landline during most days. I am also one of the 100. I rely on the Fusion App at the minimum to tell me whether or not I have any calls on my home phone. It tells me immediately and with one glance.
I do not want to make a phone call to find out. Getting the info in an email doesn't allow me to delete a message. Or save it as New. Plus I cannot access the voicemails on the sonic Website using an iPad or iPhone. all a text does is show me a phone number. Plus fill up my texts.
This choice is a total downgrade for me.
I was told by a tech person that you did not publicize the Fusion App very widely. So perhaps many customers would have used the App.
Why can't you just keep the App and let those who use it, use it?
TheFusion App is so convenient.

I was told there is no mobile access to the Voicemail folder. I can see it but not listen to messages-- using an ipad or iphone.
Hi,
I think my question from yesterday got lost amid the anguish,so I'll try again.
I also am one of the 100 app users, but I was happy with IMAP and Twitter before the app was released, and have no objection to going back.
But I'm trying to get set up again ahead of the Jan cutoff date, and am not getting direct messages from Twitter when a voicemail comes in. I am following fusion_vm, and my Twitter account appears in Voicemail Settings>Existing Forwards and Notifications.
The emails are showing up as expected.
Any ideas about the absent Twitter DMs?
Thanks!

Do you see the individual messages in the folder? When you open one, and it downloads the audio file, and you select it, what occurs?aliceabar wrote:I was told there is no mobile access to the Voicemail folder. I can see it but not listen to messages-- using an ipad or iphone.

Twitter should be working now as it was part of the original service. I'll review to see if I can figure out if something got broken along the way. I don't think very many people use it.lynh wrote:Hi,
Question: I just left myself a voicemail to test the system out, and didn't get a Twitter notification. I am following fusion_vm. Is the Twitter direct message functionality in place now, or will it only be implemented at the January app cutoff date?

I cannot even open up one of the calls from iPad or iPhone. It says I need Flash or something else ( I can't recall exactly.) The tech person said I cannot retrieve a message from that folder AT ALL from either IOS device.
PLEASE KEEP FUSION app until you have a replacement.

I just tried. When I click download I get a black screen with a crossed out arrow. When I click listen it does nothing. It says I need Flash or Java.
