they've called twice and the same # shows up
their automated spam system launches into a "...your merchant account will be blocked..." bogus message on the answering machine

We receive many calls from this number at times. If you do a web search you will see that this is very common in the East Bay. They will generally ask for the female resident and when asked for a name will hang up - this has been my experience as well. They will often call for a charity of some sort - not certain if they are associated with the different charities.

925-400-6695. Called Saturday morning. Let my answering machine take it, since I didn't recognize the number, and monitored the message. No message was left, but they continued to tie up the line until I manually ended the call. Other reports about calls from this number here:

Also, I tried to sign up for nomorobo, following instructions at the beginning of this thread. sonic.net did appear as a provider when I selected "landline," but when I clicked "next" to enter my selections (using the email address associated with my sonic.net username), I got this:
