There is no login timeout in the new application and I've had sessions open for several days on end without any issues. However, there have been a few apparently isolated reports of people having their sessions timeout. What OS/browser are you using? Do you have any JavaScript settings changed from defaults or any extensions or plugins that might interfere with it? Can you reproduce it?

Dear Sonic Staff,
I have been a very happy and satisfied Sonic.net customer for the past year and a half and frequently recommend the service to anyone who will listen. Unfortunately, the new webmail interface seems to be taking a step backwards in terms of functionality in two major aspects. First, the width of the interface seems to assume a 1280 pixel width display. For a variety of reasons, my monitor functions best at a 1024 pixel width - meaning that I repeatedly have to scroll from side to side in order to read my messages.
Second, the new interface feels slower than the current options. This is unfortunate considering the amount of repeated network access that is involved in using webmail.
In looking through the thread I noticed that other users have raised these concerns -- my point here is to underscore their importance that they have to customers. Personally, I would like to see Squirrelmail continued indefinitely. It works well over a slow connection and small monitors. In terms of aesthetics - it is truly minimalist and doesn't call attention to itself.
Thank you for your consideration.

I don't like it. It displays so much stuff, there isn't room for the messages. Too many things going on. Please keep the back up ones so I can continue to use them. Thanks.

I have been using the search function to look for certain messages. After I find my message and forward it, the window goes back to my original list, rather than to my search results, so I have to do the search again.

I can confirm this is the case that will submit a bug report for this. In the next version, you'll be able to work around this behavior by composing messages in a new window - so when you compose/reply/forward a new window will be opened without interfering with whatever you have on the screen at that time.
------------------------------------
This happens also when I just use the down arrow to go down the list of messages past the 13 that appear on the first screen (at 100% zoom). I arrow on down to a message, click on it to read it, and then when I press Inbox again it opens the top screen of the inbox and i have to scroll down again.
A new window for forwarding will not help (it would just further clutter the screen), as I'm not wanting to forward, I'm just looking through certain messages.

It is not user friendly at all. It dropped some of my addresses, won't let me put in a signature line, takes forever to figure out and way to busy looking. I am a senior citizen, still working full time and using Outlook at work. I love Sonic but this new Beta system I don't understand at all.
I like the old system Legacy using Sonic.net with Advanced Interface. It was clean looking, user friendly, very easy to maneuver in...I am not comfortable with the Beta thing at all!
Some of us don't want to be pushed into anything this complicated...please give us back the old easy to use system, this new Beta takes way too long to figure out. Guess I'll go back to Hotmail at least their upgrade is still very user friendly.

Compose Window - my imagination, or is the real estate for composing very small?
Line spacing - I could not figure out how to adjust line spacing in html composing. (maybe not possible)
Print output - the "To" field vertically centers, which wastes room and looks weird when there are multiple recipients.
Let me know if you want me to email (or fax!) you a sample.
Forwarding - the date/subject/to/from of the forwarded message is in a text box. Weird!
sorry if these items have already been noted.

Much too cluttered! I like to see the whole of a message displayed, not have to keep scrolling down to get more than a few lines.

Why do you not use Outlook for your Sonic.net email?
