Thanks!
Please do this NOW. The cost to Sonic of the current system is much too high for the benefit provided. It is pretty ineffective (I get about 1 robo-call per day, often in the middle of the night, which is really annoying because my mother is in an assisted care facility and I am always alert to the possibility something bad has happened in the middle of the night, so I can't ignore such calls).

I would rather have too much filtering than too little. Especially if you support a white-list so I can get calls from numbers you have blocked because of some overly broad list of offenders.

Please take this seriously. It is the best opportunity you have to greatly improve service at a modest cost.

Dane says it will happen: http://sonicnet.uservoice.com/forums/13 ... -filtering

But for the time being you could accomplish your objective with a device like this:

Good Luck!

This one's a genuine scam. Called 5:45pm today. Pre-recorded "survey".
We are not AT&T or Cingular customers.

800-331-0500
CID: Cingular Wirele

http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-331-0500/16
http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/8003310500/13

This is an authentic ATT customer service number BUT it is not ATT. They have used an app that cloaks their real number with an ATT number in order to conduct a bogus ATT survey. I was promised a short 1-2 minute survey for a $20 credit. After the survey they got my name and zip code, then asked for the last four digits of my Social Security number for "verification" purposes. I asked why they would need that--they already have our account info. More gobbledygook explanations from the "surveyor." I said no thanks at that point.
Caller had a pronounced Latino accent.
When I called ATT to report this they verified this is their number but it is an incoming customer service number--they never use it for anything like surveys (which are all automated anyway). They are aware of this scam. Others have given up personal info and had their cell phone accounts hacked and hundreds of dollars of charges made. Scary stuff.

I suggest that you add 423 200 3283 to your Spam Call Blocking List.

I received an un-solicited call this morning from this number.  "Dan" wanted to give me a home security system.

The display on my phone showed Morristown TN.

Thank you for this service.
