I hope the SF pilot program goes well enough for you to consider expanding Fiber to Daly City. All the telephone and electric lines in my area happen to be provided by standing, wooden poles ("aerial"). I happen to live in the northern-most part of zip code 94014 (if you look at Google Maps for my zip code, there's Hillside, Crocker, and Bayshore.... i'm in the Crocker area), the part that's almost touching Mission Street.

checking in on phase 2 and 3 in Sebastopol. I live in phase 2 and keep looking up at the fiber cables from pole to pole. I hope its soon as I love sonic Fusion service already!

Thanks

Phase 2/3 splicing will begin next week, so you will see some action.

Please bring gigabit internet to my area!

Sonic is company that has a really good potential to kill off Comcast...
It's really cool how you guys are committed against ISP overcharging its customers.
Btw,I live in San Francisco, ingleside area. Postal code 94112

Any hints on which portion of the sunset district. A colleague who lives out there was recently complaining about his AT&T access. I tried to persuade him to move to sonic but I think he was sold on the increased speed of Comcast. If fiber is in his future I think I could try again!
Here are the details on the proposed Sunset pilot (attached), showing the first coverage area. Note that this is subject to change.

I would love to get on fiber service if you ever make it out to Pachco St. and 42nd Ave location. Fusion is just too slow due to poor ATT wire location so given up on fusion. That map is so... so... close yet just a few blocks short from my location.

Here's a vote for the Mission, specifically around 24th st BART. We're close to the CO here, so we get great performance from Sonic DSL, but we're a neighborhood of geeks, so we'll use what you give. Scads of Sonic.net customers around already. We'll love it. Meantime, I'm telling all my friends in the Sunset to switch to Sonic and enjoy the fiber trial when it comes.

By the way, can we get IPv6 with that:)

All the geeks (me) live in the Richmond District, Dane... you should deploy there next. :D

Voting for the Inner Sunset. I'm sure the guys at Craigslist would appreciate it (not to mention me!)

Any chance it "might" cross 19th ave??
In San Francisco - the pilot region is all to the West of 19th. After the pilot is complete, it all depends upon uptake, cost, city permitting, etc.

I'm already a fusion customer and am just across one block down on Pacheco and 19th. I will sign up for sure if you can cross the street. And I am encouraging friends all the time to try your service. Wish you guys the best!
