we have hung on too, in hopes that this exchange was propelling some action -- but I see now as I check back that perhaps it is time to do as William did, and give up. I'm truly sorry to do so -- we've been really happy with the personable service we've gotten from Sonic, and so vastly prefer to support local businesses over the huge impersonal corporations. I get that local and small means you have less ability to address us 'little guys' when our problems aren't widespread enough -- but then again, it was just that personal response to us that made us happy to work with you (and gave us the hope that even us little guys might get attention).

If I read right in your response to William, I sense that I should indeed give up hope -- that Sonic isn't intending to try to resolve this issue here in our little micro-neighborhood. Is that correct?

In as much as that I do not have a near-term solution, that is correct. The next step will be assessing whether there are any workarounds to the existing low cable or not, but we haven't got survey and engineering folks available to even assess that at this time. So it's in our infill/edge-out queue now, and will be taken up for assessment when we've got available staff. I don't have a concrete time frame for that at this time.
