That sounds like what I have been using for years.
The raw one goes to a server which is totally capable of handling its own security so I dont think I have had any problems at all

Yea - works pretty good - but now I am noticing that I am getting a log of these in the DSL modems logs:

- Like a LOT - I removed the real numbers just cause I guess.... But I think this crashed my modem 3 times in 4 days of having a bridged and a mac_encapuslated PVC both on and active - so I am turning it off for now- and checking to see if I am just getting denial of service random attack things - or what - a simple reboot fix's it......
Ill be logging the DSL modem out to its own log( rsyslogd rocks!), and Ill keep track of it........
I am hoping that this recent series of events was a coincidence - well see....

FYI
I have no idea if anything has changed on the Sonic.Net side of this issue. But I do want to report that my 4 public IP are connected and useable through a FortiGate 40C firewall. I set up Virtual IPs in the FortiGate to connect with my 3 additional public ip addresses. The first public IP is associated with wan1 on the FortiGate. The Vips connect and stay connected. Works great. A working option for businesses needing to use more than one public ip. No workarounds or scripting were required.

Has and progress been made concerning Fusion and static IPs being visible without each host having to make it's presence known? When I first moved to Fusion, everything worked like my previous Legacy DSL connection. However, 6 months later, everything stopped working and I've had to resort to doing the ping thing once a minute to compensate. The last note here says you were working with the NOC. Any update on this?
